THE NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A509 ISHAM BYPASS CLASSIFIED ROAD) (SIDE ROADS) ORDER 2006

Northamptonshire County Council hereby give notice that they have made, and submitted to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, an Order under sections 14 and 125 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the Council to: (a) Improve the lengths of highway named in the Schedule to the Order and shown on the Site Plan by cross hatching; (b) Stop up each length of highway described in the Schedule and shown on the Site Plan by zebra hatching; (c) Construct a new highway along each route whose centre line is shown on the Site Plan by an unbroken black line surrounded by stipple; (d) Stop up each private means of access to premises described in the Schedule and shown on the Site Plan by a solid black band; and (e) Provide new means of access to premises along each route shown on the Site Plan by thin diagonal hatching; all on or in the vicinity of the route of the classified road known as the A509 Isham Bypass which the Council are proposing to construct from its northern limit, the junction of the A14 Trunk Road and the A509 Principal Road (OS Grid Ref 487671,275576) to its southern limit approximately 630 metres south of the junction of the B574 Hill Top Road and the A509 Principal Road (OS Grid Ref 488221,271468) all in the Parishes of Pytchley, Isham and Little Harrowden, in the Districts of Kettering and Wellingborough. Copies of the Order and the Site Plan may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours from 28 December 2006 to 15 February 2007 at the offices of the Head of Legal Services, Northamptonshire County Council, County Hall, Northampton NN1 1AW, at Burton Latimer Library, High Street, Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire NNI5 5RH and at Finedon Library, Berry Green Road, Finedon, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire NN9 5JL. Any person may not later than 15 February 2007 object to the confirmation of the Order by notice to the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Authority Orders Section, Government Office for the North East, Citygate, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NEI 4EH, stating the grounds of objection.
