STOPPING UP OF A LENGTH OF JOULES COURT, STOCKPORT

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT gives Notice that on the application of Chimestone Property Development Ltd, he has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping Up of Highways (Metropolitan Borough of Stockport) (No. 5) Order 2006, authorising the stopping up of a length of Joules Court, Stockport. THIS STOPPING UP ORDER is permanent and has been authorised to allow the development described in the planning permission granted to Chimestone Ltd by Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council on 23 June 2006 under reference DC022835. COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the North West (Planning Casework), City Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE (quoting reference GO/TNW 5086/35/1/54). It may also be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, Hygarth House, 103 Wellington Road South, Stockport. ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the power of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 13 December 2006, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
