THE GREENWICH (FALCONWOOD) (PAY AND DISPLAY) (PARKING PLACES) (NO. 1) ORDER 200
THE GREENWICH (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO  ) ORDER 200

1. Notice is hereby given that Greenwich Council, hereinafter called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the parking places Order would be to designate pay and display parking places, operative between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, where a vehicle may wait all day, or part, on payment of a charge of £3 and vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons badge, or a solo motorcycle, may wait without charge or time limit on the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this notice.
3. The general effect of the waiting and loading Orders would be to impose waiting restrictions:
(a) operative between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive on the lengths of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice;
(b) operative between 9.00 am and 10.00 am on Mondays to Fridays inclusive on the lengths of road specified in Schedule 3 to this notice.
4. Persons having a query concerning this scheme should contact Greenwich Transportation and Highways on 020 8921 6114.
5. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Order being amended, together with a plan showing the location and effect of the Orders and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at Greenwich Transportation and Highways, Strategic Planning Department, Greenwich Council, Peggy Middleton House, 50 Woolwich New Road, Woolwich SE18 6HQ.
Copies of the proposed Orders and a plan showing the locations can also be inspected at all local libraries.
6. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the Council’s agents, TMO Services, 4 Snell Gardens, Herne Bay, Kent CT6 7SU, quoting Ref LBG/2310, by 3 January 2007.
7. Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received in response to this notice open to public inspection.

S chedule 1

Rochester Way
(a) the north-east side, from a point 45 metres south-east of the southern kerbline of Welling Way extending south-eastward for a distance of 126 metres;
(b) the south-west side, from a point 120 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Riefield Road extending north-westward for a distance of 162 metres.

Welling Way
(a) the north side:
(i) from a point 67 metres east of the north-eastern kerbline of Rochester Way extending eastward for a distance of 156 metres;
(ii) from a point 245 metres east of the north-eastern kerbline of Rochester Way extending eastward for a distance of 90 metres;
(iii) from a point 30 metres west of the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley extending westward for a distance of 90 metres;
(b) the south side:
(i) from a point 44 metres west of the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley extending westward for a distance of 120 metres;
(ii) from a point 184 metres west of the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley extending westward for a distance of 186 metres;
Schedule 2

Welling Way

(a) the north side:
(i) between a point 26 metres east of the north-eastern kerbline of Rochester Way and a point 56 metres east of that kerbline;
(ii) between a point 88 metres east of the north-eastern kerbline of Rochester Way and a point 69 metres east of that kerbline;
(iii) between the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley and a point 10 metres west of that boundary.
(b) the south side:
(i) between the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley and a point 44 metres west of that boundary;
(ii) between a point 370 metres west of the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley and a point 390 metres west of that boundary.

Welling Way

(a) the north side:
(i) between a point 10 metres west of the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley and a point 30 metres west of that boundary;
(ii) between a point 120 metres west of the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley and a point 140 metres west of that boundary;
(iii) between a point 230 metres west of the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley and a point 250 metres west of that boundary;
(b) the south side:
(i) between a point 24 metres west of the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley and a point 44 metres west of that boundary;
(ii) between a point 164 metres west of the boundary with the London Borough of Bexley and a point 184 metres west of that boundary.
