NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58

NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL ROAD WORKS

1. Three months advance notice is hereby given that Kirklees Metropolitan Council - Highways Service intends to carry out substantial road works.
2. The streets in which these works will take place are:-

B6123 Timothy Lane, Batley

3. Work is expected to affect the carriageway / footway between:-

Heaton Road and the Kirklees boundry

4. Work is expected to commence on :- 15/03/2007 (Work should begin within one month of this date).
5. The works notified will include the following:-

Carriageway surfacing and planning

6. Subject to exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street works may be executed for period of 12 months from completion of works described in paragraph 5 without the consent of the said Highway Authority which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
