SEARCH FOR RELATIVES OF CHARLES ROBERTS
(Deceased) Would anyone having any information as to the existence or whereabouts (alive or dead) of any members of the family of Charles Roberts late of “Phoenix” Canada Road, Battle, East Sussex, please contact Vizards Wyeth (Solicitors) At Riverbridge House, Anchor Boulevard, Crossways, Dartford, Kent DA2 6SL. The late Mr Roberts died on 18 January 2006 without leaving any surviving spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters of the whole or half blood or grandparent. Of his father, Percy Roberts, nothing is known about his family. Of his mother, Betty Roberts (nee Smith), it is believed that she had five brothers and sisters, Frederick, Emma, Dorothy, Arthur and Grace (all “Smith”). Members of the Smith family lived at various addresses in Forest Hill, London, including Malham Road, Wastdale Road, Dalmain Road, Killmorie Road and Ackroyd Road, between 1939 and 1953, and were bombed out on at least two occasions. The whereabouts of Frederick Smith’s family is currently known. Arthur Smith is believed to have had three children, Joyce, Mick and John, but nothing is now known of them. Anyone able to assist with information about this family is asked to contact Vizards Wyeth in writing at the above address.
