PROPOSED BANNED U-TURNS AT THE JUNCTION OF HIGH ROAD, LEYTONSTONE, LONDON E11 AND BUSH ROAD, LONDON E11

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (hereinafter called “the Council”) propose to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to ban the U-turns by vehicles at three points at the junction of High Road, Leytonstone, London E11, and Bush Road, London E11.
3. A copy of the proposed Order, of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of a plan showing the location and effect of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order at:
(a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, London E17;
(b) The Reception Desk, Municipal Offices, 16 The Ridgeway, Chingford, London E4; and
(c) The First Stop Office, Leytonstone Library, Church Lane, Leytonstone, London E11.
4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order or make any other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the undersigned, at the address given below, quoting the Ref ES/TPD/GV/TOM/HR/BR, by 30 November 2006.
