TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up of an area of highway at Holly Tree House, Broomers Hill, Pulborough, in the county of West Sussex. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Kirstin Reid Thomas, Holly Tree House, Broomers Hill Lane, Pulborough, on 31 March 2006, by Horsham District Council, under Ref DC/06/0590. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours during the 28 days commencing on Wednesday 27 September 2006 at the Pulborough Library, Swan View, Lower Street RH20 2BF, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Surrey, East and West Sussex Transport Team, Government Office for the South East, (quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/WSUS/AGA) at the address below. During the above-mentioned period of 28 days (excluding Bank Holidays) anyone may object to the making of the Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/WSUS/AGA and addressing their objection to the Surrey, East and West Sussex Transport Team, Government Office for the South East, 1st Floor, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4GA. Please bear in mind that any objections received will be passed to the applicant and other people affected by it. The applicant or their representative may contact the objector directly to try to resolve the objection. The substance of the objection should relate to the loss of public right of way and not the merits of development taking place. General enquiries relating to this notice may be made in writing to Sisi Omu at the Government Office for the South East at the address stated above or by telephoning 01483 88 2354. Please Note that formal objections will not be valid unless made in writing.
