STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAY
STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAY ADJACENT TO THE A19, (DONCASTER ROAD), WHITLEY FARM, WHITLEY
Take notice that North Yorkshire County Council, being the highway authority for the County of North Yorkshire, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court for the Petty Sessional Division of Selby sitting at The Court House, New Lane, Selby, North Yorkshire YO8 4QW at 11.00 am on 3 October 2006 for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, to authorise the stopping up of an area of highway adjacent to the A19 (Doncaster Road), Whitley Farm, Whitley in the District of Selby, on the ground that it is unnecessary. The effect of the Order will be that the land in question ceases to be part of the publicly maintainable highway. A plan showing the proposed area of highway to be stopped-up has been deposited at Room 17D, County Hall, Northallerton and at Eggborough Village Stores & Sub Post Office, Selby Road, Whitley Bridge, Goole DN14 0LP, and may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours.
