1. Notice is hereby given that London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Disabled Parking Places Order would be to: (a) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place outside No 46 Brecknock Road; (b) extend an existing disabled blue badge parking place outside No 31 Britton Street; (c) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place on Cathcart Hill outside Suffolk House; (d) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place outside No 16 Cathcart Hill; (e) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place outside Nos 2 to 10 Duncombe Road; (f) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place outside Nos 35 and 36 Eburne Road; (g) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place outside No 149 Green Lanes; (h) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place outside Nos 1 to 48 Salisbury Walk, Magdala Avenue; (i) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place outside Nos 111 to 150 Salisbury Walk, Magdala Avenue; (j) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place outside Nos 235 to 274 Salisbury Walk, Magdala Avenue; (k) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place outside No 23 St. Paul’s Place; (l) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place outside Nos 1 to 60 Goldie House, Sunnyside Road; (m) introduce a disabled blue badge parking place on the north-west side of Wyclif Street, opposite No 14 Wyclif Street; (n) revoke existing blue badge parking places on Alexander Road, Almorah Road, Anson Road, Aubert Park, Bickerton Road, Biddestone Road, Britton Street, Cardozo Road, Cathcart Hill, Corbyn Street, Harberton Road, Lysander Grove, Medina Road, Mercers Road, Mulkern Road, Popham Street, St. Paul’s Place and Widdenham Road. 3. The general effect of the Parking Places Orders would be to: (a) (Zone X) amend the existing shared use parking place on Brecknock Road in order to introduce the aforementioned disabled parking place, 1 residents’ parking space would be lost as a result of these proposals. (b) (Zone P) modify the existing residents parking places on Cathcart Hill to allow the relocation of 2 disabled blue badge parking places, 2 residents’ parking spaces would be lost as a result of these proposals. Amend the existing residents parking spaces on Magdela Avenue in order to introduce the aforementioned disabled parking places, 4 residents’ parking spaces would be lost as a result of these proposals. Extend the existing shared use parking place on Bickerton Road to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 shared use parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. (c) (Zone F) amend the existing residents parking place on Eburne Road in order to introduce the aforementioned disabled parking place, 2 residents’ parking spaces would be lost as a result of these proposals. Extend the existing shared use parking place on Medina Road to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 shared use parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. (d) (Zone V) amend the existing residents parking place on Green Lanes in order to introduce the aforementioned disabled parking place, 1 residents’ parking space would be lost as a result of these proposals. (e) (Zone L) amend the existing residents’ parking place on St. Paul’s Place in order to introduce the aforementioned disabled parking place, 1 residents’ parking space would be lost as a result of these proposals. Extend the existing residents’ parking place on St. Paul’s Place to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. (f) (Zone TW) extend the existing shared use parking place on Alexander Road to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 shared use parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. (g) (Zone T) extend the existing residents’ parking place on Almorah Road to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. (h) (Zone R) extend the existing residents’ parking place on Anson Road to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. (i) (Zone G) extend the existing residents’ parking place on Aubert Park to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. (j) (Zone Y) extend the existing residents’ parking place on Biddestone Road to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. Extend the existing residents’ parking place on Cardozo Road to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. Extend the existing residents’ parking place on Widdenham Road to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. (k) (Zone J) extend the existing residents’ parking place on Corbyn Street to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. (l) (Zone Z) extend the existing residents’ parking places on Harberton Road to include the 2 aforementioned disabled parking place revocations, 2 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. Extend the existing residents’ parking place on Harberton Road to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. (m) (Zone U) extend the existing residents’ parking place on Mercers Road to include the aforementioned disabled parking place revocation, 1 residents’ parking place would be gained as a result of these proposals. The classes of vehicle which may be left in the parking places and the times when the parking places operate would remain unchanged. 4. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to amend the existing waiting and loading restrictions in order to introduce the aforementioned disabled parking places. 5. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders at the following location: Street Management, The Municipal Offices, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA.
