NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency, by The RSPB for consent to discharge 16 cubic metres per day of tertiary treated sewage effluent to the Great House Reen at National Grid Ref ST 33585 83194, from The New Visitor Centre, near Gwent Levels Wetland Reserve, off Nash Road, Nash, Newport. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Melanie Bischer, Regional Water Quality Team, Environment Agency, Ty Cambria, 29 Newport Road, Cardiff CF24 0TP, not later than 23 August 2006, quoting Ref SE/CUST/SP/AN0403501. Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act.
