SECTION 116, HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
Take notice that Birmingham City Council, being the Highway Authority for the City
of Birmingham, intends to apply to the Magistrates Court sitting at Victoria Law Courts,
Corporation Street, Birmingham or Priory Law Courts, Bull Street, Birmingham, on 11
August 2006 at 10.00 am for an order that the highway in Balsall Heath, Birmingham
being a rectangular-shaped area of highway being part of Willows Road commencing at
a point on Willows Road 25 metres north-east of the Willows Road/Jakeman Road junction,
continuing in a north-easterly direction and having a length of approximately 35 metres
or thereabouts and a width of approximately 3 metres or thereabouts be authorised
to be stopped-up on the ground that it is unnecessary.
The effect of the said order is shown on the plan which may be inspected, free of
charge, at the offices of the Council’s Legal Services Department, Ingleby House,
11-14 Cannon Street, Birmingham B2 5EN, on weekdays during normal office hours and
also at Sparkbrook Neighbourhood Office, Greencoat House, 261 Stratford Road, Sparkbrook,
Birmingham B11 1QS.
