Notice is hereby given that the Port of London Authority intends to apply to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation of the Dangerous Substances in Bulk (Amendment) Byelaws, River (Amendment) Byelaws and River (Amendment) (Thames AIS) Byelaws made by the Port of London Authority on 23 June 2006. A copy of the byelaws may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the Port of London Authority, London River House, Royal Pier Road, Gravesend, Kent DA12 2BG, and those at 7 Harp Lane (Office of Harbour Master Upper), London EC3R 6LB, between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the byelaws may be obtained from those offices by personal application or by post from the Gravesend office. Any person wishing to make an objection to the Secretary of State against the byelaws should write to Linturn Hopkins, Department for Transport, Ports Division, Zone 2/29, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR (or alternatively by fax on 020 7944 2188 or by email to linturn.hopkins@dft.gov.uk) within 31 days from the date of this notice, quoting Ref PCP 13/3/3, stating the grounds of objection. A copy of the objection should also be sent, at the same time, to the Port of London Authority at the Gravesend office marked for the attention of The Secretary.
