HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116 AND TWELFTH SCHEDULE

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Salford in exercise of the powers conferred on them, intend to apply to the Magistrates’ Court at Bexley Square, Salford, on Monday 7 August 2006, at 9.45 am, for an Order pursuant to section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping-up of the highways detailed in the Schedule below. Area 1:	Footpath from the northwest corner of Taylorson Street towards Gledhill Avenue. A total area of approximately 202.8 square metres.
Area 2:	Part of footpath to the south of Gledhill Avenue. A total area of approximately 161.8 square metres.
Area 3:	Part of Gledhill Avenue and all of Chetham Close, together with a footpath running towards Taylorson Street. A total area of approximately 739 square metres.
Area 4:	Footpath from Taylorson Street. A total area of approximately 10.5 square metres.
