THE REDBRIDGE (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006
BUNCES LANE—ONE WAY WORKING

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, on 19 June 2006, made the above-mentioned Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to impose one way working from east to west on that length of Bunces Lane that extends between a point 20 metres west of the western kerbline of High Road, Woodford Green and its junction with Woodford New Road. The above one way working restriction has been modified from the original proposal published in the Ilford Recorder and The London Gazette on 13 April 2006 as a result of consultation. 3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 26 June 2006, and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, together with plans showing the locations, may be inspected between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays (9.30 am to 4.30 pm on Wednesdays), until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NN. 4. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
