PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND & WALES) REGULATIONS 2000
INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL
Notice is hereby given that Centrica SHB Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Permit to operate an installation involving the burning of fuel in appliances with a total rated thermal input of 2,497 megawatts or more. The installation is located at South Humber Bank Power Station, South Marsh Road, Stallingborough DN41 8BZ, in the area of South Humberside, in North East Lincolnshire. The application (Ref MP3235LY) contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the South Humber Bank Power Station Installation is held in registers at the following locations: Environment Agency: Kingfisher House, Goldhay Way, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough PE2 5ZR; and North East Lincolnshire Council: Environmental Control, 2nd Floor Freeman House, Freeman Way, Great Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire DN32 7AU. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers may do so upon payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days of the date of this public notice: Environment Agency, Trentside Offices, Scarrington Road, West Bridgeford, Nottingham NG2 5FA. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
