NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT A LOCAL PLAN

GOSPORT BOROUGH LOCAL PLAN REVIEW

The local inquiry into this plan has been held and the report of the person holding the inquiry has been considered by Gosport Borough Council. Gosport Borough Council has considered the objections made to the proposed modifications to the plan.
Gosport Borough Council propose to adopt this plan with further modifications which the authority are satisfied will not materially affect the content of the plan. The following documents, namely: copies of the plan: the report of the person who held the local inquiry and the authority’s statement of reasons and decisions in the light of the report; and the authority’s statement of reasons and decisions as respects objections to the proposed modifications to the plan
are available for inspection from 18 April 2006 at:

Development Services Reception (Third Floor), Town Hall, High Street, Gosport PO12 1EB, between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.

The following public libraries during normal opening hours:

Local Studies Centre, Gosport Discovery Centre, High Street, Gosport PO12 1BT;
Bridgemary Library, 74 Brewers Lane, Bridgemary, Gosport PO13 0LA;
Elson Library, 136 Chantry Road, Gosport PO12 4NG; and
Lee-on-the-Solent Library, High Street, Lee-on-the-Solent PO13 9BZ.

Gosport Borough Council will adopt the plan after 16 May 2006.
