PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000
INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Viridine Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the production of biodiesel fuel. The installation is located at The Barn, Vixengrove Farm, Cinderhill, Chailey BN8 4HR, in the borough/district of Lewes, in the county of East Sussex. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the biodiesel production plant, Chailey is held in registers at the following locations: The Environment Agency, IPPC Public Register, Saxon House, Little High Street, Worthing, West Sussex BN11 1DH; and Lewes District Council, IPPC Public Register, Southover House, Southover Road, Lewes, East Sussex BN7 1AB. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. The Environment Agency, Howard House, 40-64 St John Street, Bedford MK42 0DL. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
