HIGHWAYS AT SNOW HILL QUEENSWAY, COLMORE CIRCUS, GREAT CHARLES QUEENSWAYAND ST CHADS CIRCUS, BIRMINGHAM
The Secretary of State hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section
247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-Up of Highways (City of Birmingham) (No
6) Order 2006” authorising the stopping-up of highways at Snow Hill Queensway, Colmore
Circus, Great Charles Queensway and St Chads Circus, Birmingham.
The Order, as made, will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development
described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the
planning permission granted by Birmingham City Council on 19 December 2005 under Ref
C/06465/01/OUT. Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application
to the Government Office for the West Midlands, Northern Division, 5 St Philips Place,
Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2PW (quoting Ref 5104/35/1/218) and may be inspected at
all reasonable hours at Birmingham City Council, Transport Department, 1 Lancaster
Circus Queensway, Birmingham B4 7DQ.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof,
or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers
of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder
has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 21 April
2006 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any
provisions contained therein.
