THE BROMLEY (CONTROLLED PARKING) (ON-STREET PLACES) ORDER 2004 (AMENDMENT NO  ) ORDER 2006
(SHORTLANDS VILLAGE)

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of, and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to, the Local Government Act 1985, sections 63 to 87 inclusive and Schedules 6 and 7 of the Road Traffic Act 1991 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order would be to introduce a pay and display scheme as specified in the Schedule to this notice. Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order of 2004. A copy of the proposed Order, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Leisure Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH, quoting Ref ADE(TP)/RP/T100/470 not later than 4 May 2006. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this notice may be open to public inspection. Schedule Pay and Display Scheme 8.30 am to 6.30 pm Mondays to Saturdays except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. 30p per hour up 2 hours, £1 between 2 to 4 hours. No maximum stay. Minimum 10p up to 20 mins. Maximum £2 over 4 hours: Ravensbourne Avenue, Shortlands: (a) the south-west side, from a point 7 metres north-west of the south-eastern boundary of No 79 south-eastwards to a point 2 metres north-west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 6 and 8 (41 spaces); (b) the north-east side, from a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern boundary of No 48 south-eastwards for a distance of 38 metres (7 spaces). 8.30 am to 6.30 pm Mondays to Saturdays except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. 30p per hour up to 2 hours, £1 between 2 to 4 hours. 4 hour maximum stay. Minimum 10p up to 20 minutes: Martin’s Road, Shortlands, the north side, from the western flank wall of No 102 eastwards for a distance of 31.5 metres (5 spaces). Meadow Road, Shortlands: (a) the west side, from a point 7 metres north of the northern kerbline of Beckenham Lane northwards for a distance of 16.5 metres (3 spaces); (b) the east side, from a point 7 metres north of the northern kerbline of Beckenham Lane northwards for a distance of 15 metres (3 spaces). Station Road, Shortlands: (a) the south-west side, from a point 41 metres south-east of the southern kerbline of Beckham Lane south-eastwards for a distance of 72 metres (13 spaces); (b) the north-east side, from a point 7 metres south-east of the southern kerbline of Martin’s Road south-eastwards for a distance of 45 metres (8 spaces).
