FRANCIS STREET/KING’S SCHOLARS’ PASSAGE

1. Notice is hereby given that Westminster City Council propose to make the above Order under sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to: convert the “Shared Use” parking bays to residents’ parking in King’s Scholars’ Passage: between Nos 76 to 85 Carlisle Mansions and Nos 41 to 50 Carlisle Mansions (23 bays); outside the rear of No 22 Carlisle Place (2 bays); and near the junction with Francis Street (1 bay); convert eight 4-hour metered bays to residents’ parking in Francis Street outside both No 42 Clergy House (1 and 4 bays) and Queen Mary’s Buildings (3 bays). 3. The proposed Order, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order. 4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Council’s agents, West One, telephone (020) 7798 1975. 5. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Order should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London, SW1E 6AJ, quoting reference 5138/GM, by 28th April 2006.
