THE KINGSTON UPON THAMES (PARKING PLACE) (SURBITON) (NO 3) (AMENDMENT NO 6) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006

BRIGHTON ROAD, SURBITON

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames on 27 March 2006, made the above Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to convert the metered parking place (4 bays) outside Nos 1 to 5 Brighton Road to “pay and display” operation. The permitted hours, parking charge, etc at the parking place will remain unchanged. 3. The Order, which will come into force on 3 April 2006, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including plans showing the location and effect, are available for inspection until 8 May 2006 at: The 2nd Floor Reception Area, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU, between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; and Surbiton Library, Ewell Road, Surbiton, during normal office hours. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 8 May 2006.
