THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A312 GLA ROAD (EALING, HILLINGDON AND HOUNSLOW) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2006

1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Order under sections 83 and 84 the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general nature and effect of the Order would be to rationalise speed limits on the A312 in Hounslow, Hillingdon and Ealing as follows:

(a) Retain the existing 50 mph speed limit on that part of the A312 The Parkway south of Willow Tree Lane to north of Pump Lane;
(b) Impose 40 mph speed limits on:

(i) The A312 The Parkway between White Hart roundabout and south of Willow Tree Lane;
(ii) The A312 The Parkway and The Causeway north of Pump Lane to Faggs Road;
(iii) The northbound exit slip road from The A312 The Parkway to the A4020 Uxbridge Road (Ossie Garvin roundabout);
(iv) The southbound exit slip road from The A312 The Parkway to the A4020 Uxbridge Road (Ossie Garvin roundabout).

(c) Impose 30 mph speed limits on:

(i) The A312 Faggs Road between The Causeway and Staines Road;
(ii) The A312 Church Road between and including White Hart and Target roundabouts.
3. The roads affected by the Order are indicated in paragraph 2.
4. The roads affected are currently subject to speed limits of 40 and 50 mph.
5. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals and a map indicating the location and effect of the Order can be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours for 21 days following the date on which this notice is published at the offices of:

Transport for London, Traffic Orders Team, Road Network Development, Faith Lawson House, 15-17 Dacre Street, London SW1H 0NR;
London Borough of Hillingdon, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 1UW;
London Borough of Ealing, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2HL; and
London Borough of Hounslow, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN.

6. All objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing, and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Street Management, Windsor House, 42-50 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0TL, quoting Ref TASS/AD/SF-TO, GLA/2006/080, to arrive before 29 March 2006. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
