NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Liverpool City Council of Municipal Buildings, Dale Street, Liverpool L69 2DH, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the River Alyn at National Grid Ref SJ 1974 6242, at Colomendy Centre for Outdoor Education, Loggerheads, near Mold, Denbighshire CH7 5LB. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 8.33 cubic metres per hour, 200 cubic metres per day and 5,000 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for the initial filling of a new amenity lake following construction. The licence will be a two year time limited licence. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours between 9 March 2006 and 9 April 2006. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Ffordd Penlan, Parc Menai, Bangor, Gwynedd LL57 4DE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
