THE BEXLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO 51) TRAFFIC ORDER 2006
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley on 20 February
2006, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6, and 124 of, and Part IV of
Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and
Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
2. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment
No 51) Traffic Order 2006, would be to further amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading
Restriction) Order 2002, so that:
(a) “At any time” waiting restrictions are introduced at:
Carlton Road, Welling; Essenden Road, Belvedere; Green Place, Crayford; Long Lane,
Bexleyheath; Orchard Road, Welling; Rudland Road, Bexleyheath; and St James Way, Sidcup;
(b) Monday to Saturday 8.00 am to 6.30 pm waiting restrictions are introduced in
additional parts of Blackfen Road, Sidcup; and Lower Park Road, Belvedere.
(c) Monday to Friday 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm waiting restrictions are introduced in an
additional part of Longlands Road, Sidcup.
3. Copies of the Order, the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order
2002 (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Council’s statement of reasons
for making the Order, and of plans which indicates the length of roads to which the
Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive,
at The Contact Centre, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB.

6. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained
therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant
regulations made thereunder has not been compiled with in relation to the Order may,
within 6 weeks of the day on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose
to the High Court.
