HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116 AND 117

Notice is hereby given that the Vale of Glamorgan Council, as Highway Authority for the area of adopted highway at The Herberts, St Marys Church, Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan, intends to seek an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, to stop up part of the adopted highway.
The application will be heard by Barry Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 21 March 2006, at 2.15 pm.
Any person wishing to object to the stopping-up of the highway as described above may attend and be heard on the said date.
A copy of this notice and the plan may be viewed at Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, on Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.30 am and 4.30 pm.
