NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Anglian Water Services Limited of Henderson House, Lancaster Way,
Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE29 6XQ, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence
to abstract water from a borehole in the chalk at Grid Ref TG 2091 2756, in the parish
of Aylsham in the district of Broadland in the county of Norfolk.
The proposal is to abstract at the following rates:
105 cubic metres per hour, 2,500 cubic metres per day and 750,000 cubic metres per
year for public water supply; and
36 cubic metres per hour, 865 cubic metres per day and 300,000 cubic metres per year
for supporting ditch water levels.
The application is to renew the current licence, which will expire on 31 July 2006.
Abstraction volumes will remain unchanged.
A copy of the applications and any maps and other documents submitted with them may
be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the address given above and
at Aylsham Library, 7, Hungate Street, Aylsham, Norwich, Norfolk NR11 6HS, between
17 February 2006 and 17 March 2006.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the applications should do so
in writing to The Environment Agency, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before
the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
