ALLIANCE ROAD

1. Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Ealing Council propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Orders would be to: (a) prohibit vehicles exceeding 7 feet (2.1 metres) from entering or proceeding in Alliance Road between a point 51 metres north-west of the north-western boundary of Bridge House and a point 55 metres north-west of that boundary. (This restriction would not apply to vehicles being used for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes in an emergency); (b) introduce limited time free parking places where parking by vehicles during the hours of 8.00 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Saturdays would be limited to 1 hour with no return by the same vehicle to the same parking place for a period of 1 hour in the length of Alliance Road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice; (c) impose double yellow line waiting restrictions and loading restrictions applying at any time in the lengths of Alliance Road and Saxon Drive specified in Schedule 2 to this notice. 3. The Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Mouchel Parkman, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders. 4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Mouchel Parkman on 020 8326 3014. 5. Any objections or other representations about any of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Mouchel Parkman, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, quoting Ref 775152/ORD 3274/djc until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. Schedule 1 Alliance Road, the south-west side, from a point 9 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Saxon Drive north-westwards for a distance of 21 metres. Schedule 2 (No waiting and loading at any time) Alliance Road: (a) the north-east side, between the north-western kerbline of Highfield Road and a point 65 metres north-west of the north-western boundary of Bridge House; (b) the south-west side: (i) between the north-western kerbline of Saxon Drive and a point 9 metres north-west of that kerbline; (ii) between a point 39.5 metres north-west of the north-western boundary of Bridge House and a point 59.5 metres north-west of that boundary.
