THE ISLINGTON (BUS STOP CLEARWAY) (REVOCATION NO 1) ORDER 2006

BOX JUNCTION AND BUS STOP CLEARWAY REVOCATIONS

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Islington on 6 February 2006 made the above-mentioned Orders under section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Box Junction Revocation Order will be to revoke the existing box junctions in the London Borough of Islington. 3. The general effect of the Bus Stop Clearways Revocation Order will be to revoke the existing bus stop clearways in the London Borough of Islington. 4. The Orders, which will come into force on 13 February 2006, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours until 20 March 2006 at the following location: Street Management, The Municipal Offices, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA Further information may be obtained by telephoning Street Management on extension 020 7527 8006. 5. Any person who desires to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 20 March 2006.
