NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that The Lockinge Trust of Ardington, Wantage OX12 8PP, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 28/39/18/4, which authorises the abstraction of water from The Chalk & Upper Greensand, between National Grid Refs SU 43l0 8750, SU 4280 8550 and SU 4297 8496 at Lockinge Estate, Ardington. The variation being applied for is increased total authorised abstraction from 73,189 cubic metres per year to 82,000 cubic metres per year. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected free of charge at all reasonable hours at The Lockinge Trust Office, Ardington, between Thursday 2 February 2006 and Thursday 16 February 2006. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, The Team Leader, Water Resources Regulation, Red Kite House, Howberry Park, Wallingford OX10 8BD, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
