NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Peredur Trust, of Basill Manor, St Clether, Launceston, Cornwall, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from River Inny at National Grid Ref SX 2022 8441, at St Clether, near Launceston, Cornwall. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 1,800 cubic metres per hour, 43,200 cubic metres per day, 15,768,000 cubic metres per year). The water will be used for hydro-electric, green energy, generation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at Basill Manor, St Clether, Launceston, Cornwall, between 2 February 2006 and 2 March 2006. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Sir John Moore House, Victoria Square, Bodmin PL31 1EB, before the end of the period.
