CHARITIES ACT 1993

In accordance with the provisions of section 36(6) of the Charities Act 1993, the Trustees of the South Bank Centre, registered Charity No 298909 are proposing to make the following dispositions of land around the Royal Festival Hall in the London Borough of Lambeth: (1) approximately 968 square feet of land to be the subject of a grant of lease for 99 years for the purposes of a transformer chamber; (2) approximately 20,000 square feet divided into a maximum of 7 units for a mix of catering and retail use ancillary to the cultural purposes of the Royal Festival Hall to be subject to a grant of leases each for a term of up to 25 years; (3) land on Jubilee Gardens and the Queen’s Walk for the support of a ferris wheel to be subject to a grant of a lease for a term of 26 years; and (4) approximately 7,600 square feet of land with the Royal Festival Hall to be subject to the grant of a lease for a term of 25 years for the purposes of a restaurant.
