NOTICE OF A DIRECTION GIVEN BY THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY FOR WALES TO THE ENVIRONMENT AGENCY

Notice is hereby given, as required by section 40(4) of the Environment Act 1995, that on 5 December 2005, the National Assembly for Wales gave the following Direction to the Environment Agency in implementation of Council Directive 2003/122/Euratom on the control of highly active sealed radioactive sources and orphan sources (“the HASS Directive”). The High Activity Sealed Sources (HASS) (Wales) Direction 2005.
