CONSTRUCTION OF A SPEED TABLE
The Council of the London Borough of Bexley hereby gives notice that they propose
to construct a speed table and a mini roundabout at the junction of Woolwich Road
and Heron Hill.
The Council also propose to introduce “At any time” and Monday to Saturday waiting
restrictions at various junctions and additional lengths in Erith, and amend two school
keep clear restriction and introduce one new Fire Station keep clear restriction in
Erith Road (north side) which are advertised separately.
The speed table will be constructed to the Department of Transport specification,
which specifies a maximum height of 100 millimetres above general carriageway level
(it is proposed that the average height will be 75 mm).
Plans showing the proposals are available for inspection at The Contact Centre, Bexley
Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB during the normal office hours.
Any person wishing to object to the proposals should do so in writing to The London
Borough of Bexley, Traffic and Parking Design Group, Wyncham House, 207 Longlands
Road, Sidcup, Kent DA15 7JH within 21 days from the date this notice is published.
Persons objecting to the proposals should be aware that in view of the Local Government
(Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council would be legally obliged to make any
comments received to this notice open to public inspection.
