PROPOSED ONE-WAY WORKING—ENDSLEIGH GARDENS

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the above Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to impose one-way working for all vehicles, except pedal cycles, in Endsleigh Gardens in a north-west to south-east direction. Please note that the proposed one-way working forms part of a scheme to introduce various traffic management measures in the Balaclava Road area, the notice of proposals of which was published on 3 August 2005. 3. The Order, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including plans showing the location and effect of the proposals, are available for inspection until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order at: the 2nd Floor Reception Area, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1EU, between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; and Surbiton Library, Ewell Road, Surbiton, during normal opening hours. 4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Directorate of Environmental Services, telephone No (020) 8547 5921. 5. Any objections or other representations about the proposals should be sent in writing to the Director of Environmental Services (Highways and Transportation), Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey KT1 1EU, by18 November 2005.
