OLD JEWRY, ALTERATION TO PARKING PLACES/REMOVAL OF LOADING RESTRICTIONS
1. Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of the City of London, on 21 October 2005, made Orders under sections 6 and 45 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The effect of the Orders will be to: (a) amend the layout of metered and disabled persons parking bays on the west side of Old Jewry; (b) revoke the restriction on vehicles waiting for the purpose of loading and unloading on the east side of Old Jewry, between Fredericks Place and St Olave’s Court. 3. A copy of the proposed Orders, which will come into operation on 31 October 2005, and of a plan showing the affected street, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, in the Department of Planning and Transportation, Guildhall, London EC2P 3EJ. 4. A copy of each Order may be obtained from the above address or by telephoning the Department of Planning and Transportation on 020 7332 1108. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any of provision contained therein on the ground that is is not within the powers of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder, has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
