NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that NHP (UK) Ltd, c/o Aubourn, 132-134 Hills Road, Cambridge, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a Chalk Strata at TL 3444 4076, at Ivy Farm, Royston, Hertfordshire, via a borehole. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 54.5 cubic meters per hour, 818.2 cubic meters per day, 63,600 cubic meters per year, between 1 April and 31 October. The water will be used for spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any maps, plans and other documents submitted with it, may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Bassingbourn Sub Post Office, 41 High Street, Bassingbourn, Royston, Hertfordshire SG8 5LD, between 28 October 2005 and 28 November 2005. Any persons wishing to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon, PE28 4NE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
