THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (FREE PARKING PLACE) (DISABLED PASSENGERS) (PERMIT PARKING PLACES) (REVOCATION NO 3) ORDER 2005
GOLDEN SQUARE
1. Notice is hereby given that Westminster City Council on 12 October 2005, made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Orders will be to lengthen a residents’ parking place on the north-west side of Golden Square to replace a redundant “white badge” disabled passenger’s personal parking place. In respect of the residents’ parking place, the classes of vehicles for which it will be available, the hours during which it will operate and all the time limits during which vehicles may be left in the parking places will remain unchanged. 3. The Orders, which will come into force on 17 October 2005, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at WestOne, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, until 25 November 2005. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 25 November 2005.
