THE SUTTON (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES) (NO ) (AMENDMENT NO ) ORDER 200 (REF DS519)

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The principal objective to the Orders is to provide for disabled persons a parking facility where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult. 3. The general effect of the Order will be: (a) to provide a parking place in which only vehicles displaying a disabled person’s badge may park in the following locations, to operate at all times: (i) outside No 35 Avro Way, Wallington; (ii) outside Nos 2-16 Bloxworth Close, Wallington; (iii) adjacent to No 94 Brabazon Avenue, Wallington; (iv) outside Nos 80-82 Denmark Road, Carshalton; (v) outside Nos 63-69 Grove Road, Coulsdon; (vi) outside Nos 5-8 Lynwood Avenue, Coulsdon; (vii) opposite No 53 Thornton Road, Carshalton (partially on the footway); (viii) opposite Nos 5-7 Trent Way, Worcester Park; (ix) outside No 45 Wendling Road, Sutton; and (x) outside Nos 121-123 Westminster Road, Sutton (fully on footway). (b) to redefine the position of an existing parking place outside Nos 15-21 Selby Green, Carshalton (fully on the footway). (c) to revoke the disabled persons parking places in the following locations: (i) outside No 31 Arlington Drive, Carshalton; (ii) outside No 12 Aultone Way, Carshalton; (iii) outside No 199 Glastonbury Road, Morden; (iv) outside No 310 Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton; (v) outside No 18 Guy Road, Wallington; (vi) outside No 58 Newstead Walk, Sutton; (vii) outside No 16 Southdown Road, Carshalton; (viii) outside No 83-85 Sydney Road, Sutton; (ix) outside Nos 90-92 Sydney Road, Sutton; and (x) outside Nos 107-109 Sydney Road, Sutton. 4. Full details of the proposals are contained in the following documents: (a) the draft Order; (b) plans showing the locations and extent of the disabled persons parking bays; and (c) the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order.
