TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Corporation of London hereby gives notice that it has made an Order entitled the Stopping-up of Highways (City of London) (No 2) Order 2005 under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping-up of highway in Cheapside, Milk Street, Wood Street and Mitre Court EC2 and requiring provision of replacement highway between Wood Street and Milk Street and improvement of existing highway at Milk Street. Copies of the Order and relevant plan may be inspected between the hours of 9.15 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday at the offices of the Corporation of London, Basinghall Street, London EC2P 2EJ, or may be obtained, free of charge, by post on application to The Town Clerk, Corporation of London, PO Box 270, Guildhall, London EC2P 2EJ, quoting Ref PC 517. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of Tuesday 27 September 2005, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
