THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO  ) ORDER 2005

PROPOSED DOUBLE YELLOW LINE WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN LENGTHS OF CUCKOO LANE, ELMWOOD GARDENS, GROVE AVENUE AND WEST VIEW CLOSE, HANWELL

PROPOSED SPEED HUMPS IN GROVE AVENUE, HANWELL

1. Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Ealing propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at all times in the lengths of Cuckoo Lane, Elmwood Gardens, Grove Avenue and West View Close, Hanwell, specified in the Schedule to this notice. 3. It is also proposed under the powers of Section 90c of the Highways Act 1980, to introduce a series of 5 round topped road humps with a nominal height of 75 mms and width of 3.70 metres in the south to north arm of Grove Avenue, Hanwell, in the vicinity of Nos 8-10, 32-34, 52-54, 74-76 and 98 Grove Avenue. 4. The Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Mouchel Parkman, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 28P, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Council’s agents, Mouchel Parkman, telephone number 020 8326 3016. 8. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Order should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Mouchel Parkman, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP, quoting Ref 775152/ORD3253/sc, until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. Schedule Cuckoo Lane, Hanwell, the north side, between a point 6 metres west of the western kerbline of the main south to north arm of Grove Avenue and a point 7 metres east of the eastern kerbline of the main south to north arm of Grove Avenue. Elmwood Gardens, Hanwell, between the western kerbline of the main south to north arm of Grove Avenue and a point 6.5 metres west of that kerbline. Grove Avenue, Hanwell: (A) the main south to north arm: (a) the east side: (i) between the northern kerbline of Cuckoo Lane and a point 7.5 metres north of that kerbline; (ii) between the southern kerbline of the west to east arm of Grove Avenue and a point 11.5 metres south of that kerbline; (b) the west side: (i) between the northern kerbline of Cuckoo Lane and a point 7 metres north of that kerbline; (ii) between a point 6.5 metres south of the southern kerbline of Elmwood Gardens and a point 6.5 metres north of the northern kerbline of Elmwood Gardens; (iii) between the southern kerbline of Westview Close and a point 9 metres south of that kerbline; (B) the west to east arm: the south side, between the eastern kerbline of the main south to north arm of Grove Avenue and a point 12 metres east of that kerbline.
