THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A4 GLA ROAD (BATH ROAD AND COLNBROOK BY-PASS, HILLINGDON) (SPEED LIMITS) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005
1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above-named Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general nature and effect of the Order would be to impose a speed limit of 40 mph on the A4 Bath Road from a point 96 metres west of Harlington High Street to a point 30 metres west of its junction with Nene Road. 3. The road affected by the Order is indicated in paragraph 2. 4. The road affected is currently subject to a speed limit of 50 mph. 5. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, and a map indicating the location and effect of the Order can be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours for 21 days following the date on which this notice is published at the offices of: Transport for London, Traffic Orders Team, Road Network Development, Faith Lawson House, 15-17 Dacre Street, London SW1H 0NR; London Borough of Hillingdon, Environmental Services Reception, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 1UW. 6. All objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing, and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Street Management, Windsor House, 42-50 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0TL quoting Ref TASS/AD/SF-TO,GLA/2005/382, to arrive before 28 September 2005. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
