PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990, SECTION 69
ALTERATIONS TO THE BRAMLEY VILLAGE CENTRE CONSERVATION AREA
Notice is hereby given that Waverley Borough Council has amended the boundary of The Bramley Village Centre Conservation Area under section 69 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. Extensions to the area include various buildings at St Catherine’s School, Station Road, an area of land on the Horsham Road to the north of the conservation area, and various buildings and land to the south of the area, east and west of the A281. An area has also been removed from the conservation area boundary. This includes the residential estates of Brambles Park, part of Windrush Close, Blunden Court and Rectory Close. No building or any major part of a building in the conservation area may be demolished without specific prior approval from the Local Planning Authority. No tree within the conservation area may be lopped, topped or felled unless the Local Planning Authority has been notified at least 6 weeks beforehand.
