NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Colin Laskey, of Celsa Manufacturing (UK) Limited, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from EAF Slag/Silts Clays, at National Grid Ref ST 2104 7602, at Celsa Manufacturing (UK) Limited, Mill Services Site, Rover Way, Cardiff CF24 5UX. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 8 cubic metres per hour, 200 cubic metres per day, 50,000 cubic metres per year, between daylight hours each year. The water will be used for conditioning materials on site prior to and during processing suppressing dust emissions and containing dust within the site boundaries. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Celsa Manufacturing (UK) Limited, Building 58, Castle Works, East Moors Road, Cardiff CF24 5NN, between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, Thursday 1 September 2005 and Monday 10 October 2005. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Rivers House, St Mellons Business Park, St Mellons, Cardiff CF3 0EY, before the end of the said period.
