THE A30 TRUNK ROAD (CHIVERTON CROSS ROUNDABOUT IMPROVEMENT) (SIDE ROADS) ORDER 2005

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 12, 14 and 125 of the Highways Act 1980, in relation to the A30 Trunk Road in the county of Cornwall, which will: 1. authorise him to: (a) improve highways; (b) stop up highways; (c) stop up private means of access; and (d) provide new means of access all on or in the vicinity of the route of the trunk road mentioned above. Copies of the Order and the plans referred to in it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours from 11 August 2005 until 22 September 2005, or within 6 weeks from that date of first publication of this notice if that period expires later, at the offices of the Highways Agency, Ash House, Falcon Road, Exeter EX2 7LB and at Cornwall County Council, County Hall, Truro TR1 3AY, Carrick District Council, Pydar Street, Truro TR1 1EB, plus Goonhaven Post Office, Blackwater Post Office, St Day Post Office, Redruth Library, Truro Main Post Office, Truro Library, Newquay Post Office, Perranporth Sub Post Office, St Agnes Post Office, Threemilestones Post Office. Any person who desires to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in, the Order, on the ground that it is not within the powers with respect to the Order conferred by the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of or any instrument made under any provision of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 11 August 2005 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
