Take notice that Poles Ltd, of Hamels Mansion, Knights Hill, Buntingford, Hertfordshire SG9 9NF, is applying to the Environment Agency for the renewal of recently expired rights to abstract water from underground strata and inland water: (1) (Licence No 29/38/4/75) National Grid Ref TL 3503 1639 (2) (Licence No 29/38/7/65) National Grid Ref TL 3540 1622 at Hanbury Manor Hotel & Country Club, Ware, Hertfordshire SG12 0SD. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: (1) 6.8 cubic metres per hour, 163.3 cubic metres per day, 24,822 cubic metres per year. (2) 15 cubic metres per hour, 270 cubic metres per day, 25,000 cubic metres per year. Aggregate total for both licences 25,000 cubic metres per year. Abstraction between November and March inclusive each year. The water will be used to fill the reservoir in winter for subsequent spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Marriott Hanbury Manor, Ware, Hertfordshire, between 22 July 2005 and 19 August 2005. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Team Leader, Water Resource Team, Environment Agency, Apollo Court, 2 Bishop Square, St Albans Road West, Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL10 9EX, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
