THE HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO 3) ORDER 2005

1. Notice is hereby given, that the Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham on 29 June 2005 made the above-named Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The Hammersmith and Fulham (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No 2) Order comes into operation on 11 July 2005 and its general effect will be to further amend the existing Hammersmith and Fulham (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (No 112) Order 1993 so that no waiting “at any time” restrictions apply in the following sections of road: (i) Clematis Street, from its junction with Hemlock Road south-eastward for a distance of 11.5 metres; (ii) Hemlock Road, the south-east side, from a point 4.6 metres south-west of a point opposite the south-western wall of No 36 Hemlock Road to a point 4.1 metres north-east of a point opposite the north-eastern wall of No 34 Hemlock Road; (iii) Lillie Road, the north-west side, from the common boundary wall of Nos 125 and 127 Lillie Road to a point 2 metres south-west of the common boundary wall of Nos 133 and 135 Lillie Road; (iv) Pearscroft Road, the south-east side, from a point 0.7 metres north-east of a point opposite the south-western wall of Nos 1 to 20 Pearscroft Court to a point 1.9 metres north-east of a point opposite the north-eastern wall of Nos 21 to 75 Pearscroft Court; (v) Pearscroft Court, the whole road; (vi) Townmead Road: (a) the north-west side, from a point 15 metres south-west of the south-western kerbline of Bagley’s Lane to its junction with Imperial Road; (b) both sides, from its junction with The Boulevard to its junction with Harbour Avenue (excluding that section which lies 19 metres south-west of its junction with Harbour Avenue south-westward for a distance of 14 metres); (vii) Bagley’s Lane: (a) the north-east side, from the north-western kerbline of Townmead Road north-westward for a distance of 30 metres; (b) the south-east side, from the north-western kerbline of Townmead Road north-westward for a distance of 1500 metres; (viii) Imperial Road: (a) the south-west side, from its junction with Townmead Road to a point opposite the north-westernmost wall of the Mortuary on Imperial Road; (b) the north-east side, from its junction with Townmead Road north-westward for a distance of 54 metres; (ix) Bishop’s Road: (a) the north-west side, between the south-western kerbline of Dawes Road and a point opposite the common boundary wall of Nos 75 and 77 Bishop’s Road including the north-eastern and north-western kerblines of the traffic island at its junction with Dawes Road; (b) the south-east side, between the south-eastern kerbline of Dawes Road and a point 2.6 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos 65 and 67 Bishop’s Road; (x) the junction of Richmond Way with: (a) Sinclair Gardens, (b) Netherwood Road, (c) Minford Gardens; (xi) Old Oak Common Lane, the east side, from its junction with Wulfstan Street to a point opposite the north-western wall of No 238 Old Oak Common Lane. 3. The Hammersmith and Fulham (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No 3) Order comes into operation on 11 July 2005 and its general effect will be to further amend the existing Hammersmith and Fulham (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (No 112) Order 1993 so that no waiting “at any time” restrictions apply in the following sections of road: (i) Munden Street (a) from its junction with Hammersmith Road south-eastward for a distance of 10 metres; (b) the north-east side, from the north-western kerbline of Vernon Street north-westward for a distance of 6 metres; (c) the south-west side; (i) from a point 10 metres south-east of its junction with Hammersmith Road to a point 1 metre north-west of a point opposite the party wall of Nos 15 and 16 Munden Street; (ii) from a point 1 metre north-west of the common boundary wall of Nos 15 and 16 Munden Street to the north-western kerbline of Vernon Road; (ii) Southcombe Street: (a) from the north-western kerbline of Vernon Street north-westward for a distance of 3.5 metres; (b) the south-west side, from a point 10 metres south-east from its junction with Hammersmith Road to a point 3.5 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Vernon Street; (iii) Vernon Street: (a) the north-west side, (i) from a point 3.5 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of Southcombe Street south-westward for a distance of 12 metres; (ii) from the north-eastern kerbline of Munden Street north-eastward for a distance of 3.5 metres; (b) all that part of the carriageway which constitutes its western extremity from its south-eastern kerbline to its junction with Munden Street, (c) the south-east side, between a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerbline of North End Road to its south-western extremity. 4. For a period of 6 weeks from the day on which the Orders were made, a copy of the Orders, the council’s statements of reasons for making the Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours at The Network Management Team, Environment Department, Town Hall Extension, King Street, London W6 9JU. 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any of the provisions therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic Act 1991 or that any of the relevant requirements or regulations have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of the Orders being made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
