NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE REPRESENTATIONS ON THOSE ELEMENTS OF THE ADOPTED CARADON LOCAL PLAN WHICH REMAIN UNCHANGED IN CARADON DISTRICT COUNCIL’S PROPOSALS FOR LOCAL PLAN FIRST ALTERATION—REDEPOSIT

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with Regulation 24A Paragraph 11 of the Town and Country Planning (Transitional Arrangments) (England) Regulations 2004, the Council will consider any representation/objection relating to those parts of the Adopted Caradon Local Plan (1999) which the Council does not propose to alter in the Local Plan First Alteration—Redeposit. Copies of the Adopted Caradon Local Plan (1999) and the Local Plan First Alteration—Redeposit are available for public inspection at: Planning Reception, Luxstowe House, Liskeard, Cornwall (Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm) and at the following libraries during normal opening times. Liskeard Library, Barras Street, Liskeard. Saltash Library, Callington Road, Saltash. Torpoint Library, Fore Street, Torpoint. Looe Library, Sea Front Court, Looe. Callington Library, Launceston Road, Callington. On the Council website, at www.caradon.gov.uk For assistance, a list of the policies from the Adopted Caradon Local Plan (1999) that are not proposed to be changed is available at the locations detailed above. Any objections or representations as outlined above should be sent in writing using the response form to Mr S Besford-Foster, Head of Economic and Community Services, Caradon District Council, Luxstowe House, Liskeard PL14 3DZ, before 5.00 pm on 5 August 2005. Response forms are available at the Planning Reception as specified above, and from the Council’s website. Objections and representations to those parts of the Adopted Caradon Local Plan (1999) which are not being altered should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Only objectors whose objections/representations are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6-week period ending on 5 August 2005, will have a right to have their objections heard at a local inquiry or other hearing. Please note that the Council is not inviting further objections to those policies which it proposes to alter in the Local Plan First Alteration—Redeposit. These were subject to consultation between the dates 9 May 2005 and 20 June 2005 and will be dealt with at the Local Plan Inquiry. The Council will now consider any response which relates to the absence of a proposal for change to the Adopted Caradon Local Plan, including a response that a policy which remains unchanged should have been changed. 24 June 2005.
