THE BARNET (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (1996, NO 1) (AMENDMENT NO 8) TRAFFIC ORDER 2005

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 16 June 2005, an Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This Order will introduce new no stopping school keep clear markings on Bigwood Road outside Henrietta Barnet School in order to prevent vehicles stopping on the extent of the markings, and reduce congestion at times where there is movement of pupils emerging from School entrances and to allow pupils to have a clear view of the road. The restricted periods are between 8.00 am and 4.15 pm. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Monday 27 June 2005, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Parking Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP; and (b) The Information Centre, The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
