NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
THE UFJ BANK LIMITED (SANWA) RETIREMENT BENEFITS PLAN
The notice is given pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925. Notice is hereby given that the Trustees of The UFJ Bank Limited (SANWA) Retirement Benefits Plan (the “Plan”) (previously known as The Sanwa Bank Limited Retirement benefits Plan) are winding-up the Plan. The assets of the Plan will be applied to secure benefits for Members and other Beneficiaries with an Insurance Company or by transfer to alternative Pension Arrangements. Anyone who believes that he or she is a Member or Beneficiary of the Plan but who has not been contacted about the winding-up, or anyone who believes they have any other interest, claim or entitlement in relation to the Plan which is not already being dealt with within the winding-up should write and provide details of their Membership, interest, claim or entitlement to the Trustees of The UFJ Bank Limited (SANWA) Retirement Benefits Plan c/o UFJ Bank Limited, City Place House, 5 Basinghall Street, London EC2V 5DL. All persons making such claims should provide full details of their names, address, date of birth and period of employment together with copies of all documents which support their claim. Details must be sent by 15 August 2005 or within 2 months of the date of publication of this notice (if later). After expiry of this period the Trustees will wind up the Plan and will not be liable to any person in respect of any claim, interest or entitlement he or she may have in relation to the Plan but of which the Trustees have not had notice. Notification is not required from persons who are currently in receipt of a pension from the Plan or who have received correspondence relating to the Plan from the Trustees since 8 April 2005.
