Notice is hereby given that a local Inquiry in Public is to be held into a proposal by the Secretary of State for Transport to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act. If made the Order would allow the stopping-up of 2 areas of highway at 6 and 8 South Parade, Pocklington, East Riding of Yorkshire in order for development to take place in accordance with planning permission granted by East Riding of Yorkshire Council on 16 August 2004 under Ref DC/03/08585/PLF/WESTWW. The Secretary of State has appointed Mr C Millns to conduct the Inquiry, which be held at The Feathers Hotel, Market Place, Pocklington, East Yorkshire, on Wednesday 29 June 2005 and will commence at 10.00 am.
